“Miss My Dawg” finally has an official home after Drake and Yeat premiered it during ‘Fear of Missing Out.‘

Yeat originally promised fans five new songs on COCOON. Then Drake appeared, “Miss My Dawg” entered the picture, and the project somehow grew to seven.

When first revealing Drake’s involvement, Yeat wrote, “It was gonna be five songs, but I had to make it six.” That statement made it sound like the superstar collaboration was the EP’s final addition. However, COCOON has since expanded again and will now feature seven tracks in total.

The Drake-assisted record has also been identified as “Miss My Dawg,” which fans first heard during Drake’s Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) film. The preview featured Drake handling the song’s emotional chorus and Yeat supplying a wild, animated verse over hard-hitting production. Its placement on COCOON means the collaboration will finally receive a proper home after generating attention during the film.

Yeat originally described the EP as a pack of new material recorded while he was traveling. He has not shared its complete tracklist, so we still do not know what caused the project to grow from six songs to seven.

Drake’s appearance continues a creative partnership that has already produced “IDGAF,” “As We Speak,” and “Dog House” with Julia Wolf. Those records showed how naturally Drake’s calculated coolness can complement Yeat’s chaotic energy.

Drake may have been responsible for song number six, but Yeat apparently found another record worth squeezing inside COCOON before it hatched.
