The ever-so talented troublemaker, Azealia Banks, has returned for “Yung Rapunxel: Pt. II!” While the project technically consists of ten songs, Azealia decided to bundle those ten songs into one full 30-minute clip. Nonetheless, I believe Azealia does her thing on this mixtape, killin’ n***as with hardcore raps, interesting instrumentals, and vibes that will scare the hell out of you! If you are a music/horror movie lover, you may want to press play on the audio you see below.

YT Suns is a two-man group from Kent, Washington that makes music that is stubbornly hip-hop, but also pretty cutting-edge, too. In “What If,” the duo does it all, gifting us with high-octane music that features sneaky good singing (Seriously, these dudes can harmonize and deliver a melody with the best of them), the trillest of instrumentals, carefree bars, vulnerable lyrical content, and vibes that are as hypnotizing as it gets. In other words, “What If” is a must-listen if you call yourself a modern-day hip-hop fan, folks! (more…)

Alessia Cara isn’t quite ready to let the summer fade away. In her latest EP titled “This Summer,” she gifts us with music that features summertime vibes, unapologetic thoughts on love, and passionate vocal performances. Though the project is short, I enjoyed every single second of it, mainly because it showed her in a light that was pretty heartwarming to see. (more…)

iAMDJSTAXX's is a gritty, hungry and polished rapper that understands the ins-and-outs of making songs real ones can feel. With that being said, in "Lost Talent," his latest EP, what…
I f**k with Childish Major! He's a producer-turnt-rapper that has a level of edginess to him that is intriguing to listen to. In "Dirt Road Diamond," Childish's latest project, he…
I appreciate every ounce of new music we get from the fallen XXXTENTACION. His artistry was so unique, to me, and unfortunately, while he was here, I feel like he didn’t gift us with enough music. With that being said, one of X’s best works to-date, “?,” has gotten a deluxe edition, and it features voice memos, remixes, instrumentals, and bonus tracks! (more…)

IDK is easily one of the best rappers in the game right now; unfortunately, I am not sure how many people know that. With that being said, in “Is He Real,” the Maryland native really makes a name for himself, gifting us with a fourteen-track body of work that is heavy-hitting, but also trippy and smooth. Personally, I think you will like the project, but then again, IDK what your taste in music is (OK, that was lame). (more…)

Emp Tafari’s father named him ’emperor,’ and listening to his music, I can see why. Whenever the Harlem rapper enters the booth, what you get is nothing but bossed-up bars, which typically leads to tracks that g’s all over can learn a thing or two from. In “Pops Named Me Emperor,” his latest project, Emp shines by gifting us with a body-of-work that is passionate, emotional, authentically hood, refreshingly hip-hop, and most importantly, unapologetically NY. Matter of fact, if you don’t get several epiphanies listening to this joint, you may want to check your pulse. (more…)

Soso is one of those rappers that is trill, but also braggadocios. In “Hers,” his latest EP, the Los Angeles native blends both worlds together to create this three-track body-of-work that features a soulful banger (“Can’t Stand Me”), a club-ready banger (“Tell Me”), and a sly banger (“Fasho”). Each track features explosive bars, in addition to hooks that are as infectious as fungi. In my opinion, if you are a hip-hop fan, you will love this EP! (more…)
