“Free Ralo?” Nah, I am actually cool with leaving him in jail. I do understand that he makes solid trap music, though, so I gave this project a try. (more…)

Skinnyfromthe9 and Fetty Wap both hail from New Jersey, and also, both sing their asses off whenever they make music. In “Skinny Wit The Zoo,” the two glass-breakers unite for a short body of work that I consider explosive, auto-tune-abusive, and most importantly, useless when it comes to subject-matters and content. I don’t know why you would want to click play on it, but hey, whatever floats your boat. (more…)

With all the anticipation, famous hip-hop friends and automatic club spins now gone, B.o.B. has decided to retool his artistry, gifting us with a body of work in “Southmatic” that is versatile and pretty genre-less.  (more…)

When Trina first came out, she referred to herself as ‘The baddest b*tch.’ Since then, plenty of other bad b*tches entered the game, pushing hip-hop’s kick-ass female presence more and more forward. With that being said, Trina is still the Godmother of this bad b*tch rap s**t, and with the release of “The One,” she proves that not only is she still serviceable as a rapper, but that she is also an artist that plenty of her peers respect.
