Stream King Combs’ “Cyncerely, C³” EP

King Combs will be carrying on Puff Daddy’s legacy into the next generation. This doesn’t mean you should expect him to wear shiny suits or find the next greatest rapper of all time (Yes, I think Biggie is the greatest rapper of all time). What you should expect from him is to harbor great relationships with the up-and-comers in the game, and most importantly, to drop bars with the best of them whenever he makes music. In “Cyncerely, C³,” Combs achieves both goals. (more…)

hhhhhhhhhhhhhh

At his core, Deante’ Hitchcock is as normal as you and I. In his new short, but sweet EP, he lets the world get a peek inside his mental, and as a result, listeners are blessed with nothing but introspective, raw and unapologetic jams.

“Just a Sample 2” Features H.E.R. and Childish Major. (more…)

In my eyes, August Alsina is as intriguing to listen to as any other R&B act in the game. I love his passion, I love his willingness to let loose vocally, and most importantly, I love how raw his content is. On “Forever And A Day,” he dives deep into his bag of tricks, gifting us with a body of work that is perfect for Valentines day.

Stream Cashis’ “I’ma Ride EP”

Remember Cashis? He used to roll with Eminem and his Shady records group back in the day. He never got a chance to fully bloom as an artist, which I find truly disappointing. Luckily for him, he’s been granted a second chance, and it comes in the form of I’ma Ride — An eight track EP that features some serious street music, in addition to some big-name artists such as Young Buck, Problem, Emilio Rojas and Project Pat. If you are in the mood for some serious street s**t, I think this EP is perfect for you. (more…)
