Dave East and Joyner Lucas going toe to toe for rap supremacy right now!
Much like Joyner Lucas, Dave East has been trickling through all the rap songs that were popular this year, making his own street-inspired version of them. I love that he does that, especially when he does it to a non-lyrical song like ‘Gucci Gang’.
Does the Harlem spitter murder this particular East Mix? Probably not, but he gives it a perspective that the old heads can at least hear the song in.
Why is Gucci Gang’s hook so damn infectious!?
