You know what the R&B queens of yesteryear do these days that I kinda dislike? They tend to think that we want to hear them make music that sounds like the s—t we hear on radio. We understand that’s what’s making money, but when it’s all said and done, we want you to do what you do well. Well that’s what you get from Mary this time around, an old school sounding R&B track that has her relying on her boisterous vocals, powerful lyrics, and stretched out melodies. It’s truly something timeless for her fans!
