Chris Brown & Joyner Lucas – I Don’t Die (Review & Stream)

Between Fred Vanfleet, Chris Brown & Joyner Lucas, light skin dudes are making a come back.

As we patiently await their new “Angels & Demons” project, Chris Brown and Joyner Lucas dropped a brand new single off of it tonight called “I Don’t Die.” On it, Both Joyner and Chris spit some powerful bars over this amped up instrumental. But then again, did you expect anything else from these two?

Not only am I amazed at how Joyner switches his flow from slow to fast throughout his verses, but I am also impressed with the appealing bars he drops throughout. He is low key turning into a rap top 5’er.

Chris Brown is on the hook to this song, and also has the last verse. Since the hook was weak, I’ll focus on his verse. On it, he also raps fast, dropping a few bars that revolve around some rich n***a teasing. It’s a solid verse from him, and definitely keeps up with what Joyner did on his two verses.

It’s funny how the two dudes that use their real names as their rap monikers decided to link up for an album.
