Fat Joe – Momma (Ft. Dre & Big Sean) (Review & Stream)

This is the most commercial mother’s day track I’ve ever heard in my life.

You would think this track would be all mushy and s**t, but there is a good amount of trillness attached to it. Powered by this soulful trap beat by Cool & Dre, Fat Joe, Sean & Dre reminisce about all the wonderful things their mothers did for them when they were put in some pretty difficult situations in the past. The bars both rappers drop are nothing less than gritty, and as expected, Dre delivers a hook and verse that sounds rather similar to something Drake would give us.
