Kodak Black Drops His First Solo Single Since His Prison Release With “If I’m Lyin’ I’m Flyin” (Review & Stream)

Someone trying to explain to me what “If I’m Lyin’ I’m Flyin’ means?’

Kodak Black is living his best life out here, and it shows in all the smiling he’s been doing as of late (And eating, too). But when it’s all said and done, he’s still one of raps realest players, and on “I’m Lyin’ I’m Flyin,’ he shows us why.

Over this bass boomin’ instrumental, our hero opens up about the trials and tribulations he has faced these last couple of months, but in a way that’s sly and unbothered sounding. I love the way he eases through his bars, never really allowing the beat to dictate his urgency or style.

A good chunk of Kodak Black’s music videos look like episodes of MTV cribs.
