Lana Del Rey Releases “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have” (Review & Stream)

Lana Del Rey continues to excel making music in her own little world.

These last couple of months, Lana Del Rey has quietly put together quite the catalog. Interestingly enough, each song she’s come out with has taken on this somber mood, which I think actually showcases her songwriting abilities. In her latest release, “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have,” the Lake Placid native chillingly sings over this piano-heavy instrumental, pouring out her heart about being this complicated individual that simply has a hard time comprehending the true meaning of life. Personally, I think she sounds beautiful on the track, but I do worry about her current state of mind.

Why is it that I always forget that Lana Del Rey is American?
