Can we not normalize this kind of dominance?
Drake is currently giving the music industry a live seminar on why having a strong catalog matters.
According to Kurrco, Drake currently has the most entries on the Billboard 200 chart, with projects spread all over the rankings:
#27 Take Care
#43 Views
#52 $ome $exy $ongs 4 U
#60 Certified Lover Boy
#68 Scorpion
#75 Thank Me Later
#77 For All The Dogs
#128 More Life
#167 Nothing Was The Same
What makes this so wild is that these albums represent nearly every version of Drake. You have the hungry early-career Drake with Thank Me Later, the emotional superstar era with Take Care, the polished commercial titan with Views, the chart machine phase with Scorpion, and the newer, meme-fueled “NOKIA era” still finding streams.
That kind of range is rare. Most artists might have one nostalgia project hanging around the charts. Drake has entire eras still breathing.
And the scary part? Another album is on the way. ICEMAN is expected May 15, meaning one more Drake project could soon join the pile.
Say what you want about him, but this level of sustained dominance is absurd. If you can’t admit that, you might have Drake Derangement Syndrome (DDS).
Drake has the most entries on this week’s Billboard 200, with all of his charting albums currently rising ahead of the May 15 release of 'ICEMAN' ?
