Migos Drop “Position To Win” (Review & Stream)

The only reason I finished listening to this song is because I have an obligation to tell you guys how bad it is.

I noticed the downfall of Migos shortly before “Culture II” dropped. I felt like their music sounded way too watered down at the time, and chemistry-wise, s**t seemed fractured. With the release of “Position To Win,” I think they hit rock-bottom.

“Position To Win” sounds gimmicky, flat, tired and predictable. The hook Quavo lays down on it is cheesy, while the contributions you get from the other two members in the group was forgettable. Overall, the song screams out ‘commercial influence,’ which is why I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out it will serve as the lead song for a video game soundtrack.

I don’t want Migos to break-up, I just want them to stop making music together…
