I’ma grown ass man that can admit that I missed this n***a ScHoolboy Q!
I have reason to believe TDE will have a major year in 2019. What I expect to drop is new albums by Reason, Kendrick Lamar, SZA and possibly Ab-Soul. The one person I left off that list is ScHoolboy Q, and that’s because today, he released his first single of the year titled “Numb Numb Juice” — therefore there is no need to use the word ‘expect’ for him…
“Numb Numb Juice” is high in energy, it’s menacing, and even has this old school feel to it. Content-wise, ScHoolBoy (ironically) schools n***as on how to move like a real street dude, outlining what’s b*tch s**t, while also indulging in the evils that makes him unf**kwittable. While the track is very short, it succeeds in getting you amped up to hear what else he has in store.
A gassed up ScHoolboy Q is a problem for the industry.
