I think “Ready To Die” is the best song I’ve heard by EarthGang to-date.
EARTHGANG are weird, but I also think they are critical to hip-hop’s future. In “Ready To Die,” their latest single, the duo shines, gifting us with a banger I believe is just as holy as it is trill.
“Ready To Die” is powered by this soulful instrumental that has its fair-share of tumultuousness attached to it. Over this instrumental, both members of EARTHGANG spit nothing but sacred bars, letting the world know how much they are about that life. While I love the tough ass lyrics you get from start to finish on this song, it’s the animation and tricky flows the duo forks out that makes it special.
I think I’m officially ready for EarthGang’s new album.
