DANGEROOKIPAWAA FREESTYLE
Ab-Soul
OVERALL RATING (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
I dare you to try and pronounce the name of this song.
Who would’ve known that Top Dawg’s birthday would get Ab-Soul to start rapping again? Today, on the honcho’s big day, the California rapper decided to drop some major bars on “Dangerookipawaa Freestyle.”
“Dangerookipawaa Freestyle” satisfies two of my sides: My soulful side and my gritty side. While the song boasts an instrumental that is on some jazzy s**t, rapping-wise, Soul goes ham, touting himself as the best thing since sliced bread, as someone who has bad b*tches on his payroll, and as someone you wouldn’t want to go toe-to-toe with on the mic. As usual, the long-haired rapper delivers punchlines that are astute and flows that are steady on his verses, reminding the world that he is a top 3 T.D.E. rapper.
Ab-Soul’s resume is one of the shakiest I’ve ever seen…
Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
