Lil Nas X Says “Trust Me”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Random question: Have you seen 4Batz and Lil Nas X in the same room before? I feel like they look like very similar people. Anywho, the latter has been on fire lately. Relying mainly on his rap side, Nas X has delivered a few tracks that I f**k with in the past couple of weeks. Today, he decided to keep his hot streak going by releasing “Trust Me.”

If you don’t pay attention to Lil Nas X’s lyrics, you would assume this was a club banger. “Trust Me” features a bass-booming beat, a sly rap delivery, and a very catchy hook. But I think it’s the lyrics that you need to pay attention to the most. In the track, Nas X brings up how he dealt with his sexuality in the past and how, today, he wonders if he’s moving in the safest way possible when it comes to sexual relations. He also randomly talks his s**t, bringing up how much more successful he is than his peers. I think the song is a good listen; it’s not too crazy but also not super mushy.

Do you think Lil Nas X can be success for much longer?
