Ghukas’ “Monsters” is beyond touching.
Ghukas is a talented singer/songwriter that isn’t afraid to show raw emotions in the music that he makes. On his latest project, Umbra, he tackles instrumentals that are serene and touches on topics that are powerful. “Monsters,” one of my favorite tracks on the EP, is a beautiful piece of work that never lets up in emotional vibes.
“Monsters” features the following things: An instrumental that straddles the line between lively and sobering, poetic lyrics, and a vocal performance that will send chills up and down your spine. Though we all have our fair share of monsters that keep us up at night, for Ghukas to tell us both how he handles his and who he runs to when he is in need of comfort is beyond inspiring.
