J.I.D. & Conway Trade Serious Bars On “Ballads”

BALLADS

J.I.D. & Conway

OVERALL RATING (????????)

Griselda and Dreamville finally join forces.

J.I.D. and Conway are both the second-best rappers in their respective groups. Today, “Ballads,” a song that features the two MCs, has hit streaming services.

Since “Ballad” boasts a beat that is smoother than Klay Thompson’s shooting form, you get nothing but focused bars by both J.I.D. and Conway. While I’m not the biggest fan of all of the violence they glamorize on the song (Especially after King Von’s murder), I do f**k with their clever punchlines and sturdy flows.

Listen to “Ballads” below.
