Cordae Goes Off On “The Parables”

THE PARABLES

Cordae

OVERALL RATING (??????????)

I’m convinced that Cordae is J. Cole’s more than capable backup.

Do you know what I love about Cordae? You can tell that he wants to be great. Every time he returns to the music scene, he sounds stronger, wittier, and more skilled. Last night, Cordae decided to release “The Parables,” a song in which he goes ham for about three full minutes.

The beat that powers “The Parables” has this dark/wicked feel. Over it, Cordae aggressively raps about the days that he used to slang that iron in the skreets. While I normally don’t endorse violence, Cordae spits so hard on this joint, I can’t help but endorse it today.

You are smoking Grade A crack if you don’t think that Cordae is nice.
