Larry June’s “Who Coppin” Earns Biggest First-Week Debut Of His Career

Larry June’s consistency is finally producing career-best commercial results.

Larry June’s success story continues to remind everyone that there isn’t just one path to the top.

His newest album, Who Coppin, debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200 with more than 21,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week, setting a new career best. For an artist who has built his reputation through consistency rather than controversy, that’s a huge accomplishment.

Few rappers have worked as relentlessly as Larry June over the past several years. In 2025 alone, he released five different projects, including solo albums, deluxe editions, and collaborations. Earlier this year, he linked with Curren$y and The Alchemist for Spiral Staircases, showing once again that his work ethic rarely slows down.

Unlike many of his previous releases, Who Coppin leans into a larger supporting cast, featuring appearances from DJ Fresh, Musiq Soulchild, Jhené Aiko, Swizz Beatz, and B-Legit. Considering his previous best first-week total was just above 18,000 units, this jump is well deserved.

Larry June has never sacrificed his identity for mainstream attention. If anything, this debut proves authenticity remains one of the strongest brands an artist can have.
