Young Dolph

OVERALL RATING (????????)

You get a classic version of Young Dolph on “Large Amounts.”

I’m not going to lie, I forgot that Young Dolph’s Rich Slave album came out last year. The album is not bad, it just got buried under all of the other fantastic albums that also came out in 2020. Whatever the case may be, the Memphis rapper will release a deluxe version of Rich Slave very soon. Today, he decided to hype us up for the project by dropping “Large Amounts.”

“Large Amounts” is powered by a beat that is designed to intimidate weaklings, lyrics that are supposed to galvanize the real, and a style of rapping that is rawer than 711 hot dogs. Personally, what I like about the song is that it falls in line with the music that is on Rich Slave.

When Young Dolph speaks, I take notes (Dude sounds like he breathes the streets).
