Blood Honey

??? ?????? (??????????)

“Game Baby” is a song that you will never stop playing.

Blood Honey is an electro-pop duo (Jackie is the vocalist and Kevin is the producer) that you need to keep an eye on. Though they don’t have an extensive catalog, based on “Game Baby,” I can tell that they are destined for greatness.

“Game Baby” is a spellbinding masterpiece that features 80s-like synth instrumentation that The Weeknd would probably pay a few racks for, silky smooth vocals, and melodies to die for. Also, the song features lyrics that will resonate with anyone that is seeking real love; even if you are willing to lose a bit of yourself to get it.

“Blood Honey” has a deeper meaning. According to Jackie, “Game Baby” has a deeper meaning:

“I felt so dysfunctional and naive trying to navigate different aspects of my life, post-cancer. That became a very familiar feeling for me, and this song is admitting that I sought out that same feeling and dysfunction in a romantic partner.”

Gosh, Blood Honey, I promised I wasn’t going to cry this week!
