I’m not going to lie, I didn’t expect Saweetie to blow up as she has. Don’t get me wrong, she’s fine as hell and has an appealing image, but I personally don’t think that she is that great of a rapper. Whatever the case may be, the Bay Area native is knocking on the door of A-list status right now. So what do people that are borderline a-list rappers do? Drop compilation albums with a bunch of random folks!
Pretty Summer Playlist pays homage to Bay Area music. The EP features songs that boast an obnoxious amount of bass, interesting rap deliveries, and swagger that my East Coast-ass simply doesn’t get. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that I will bump this EP, but what I will lie and tell you is that there are some fantastic raps on this EP!
