Simon Ocean is a talented musician with a great voice and a level of fearlessness that is glaring. While I am a big fan of how cozy and warm his “Mi Amor” track feels on my soul, since I am a major fan of horror movies, you know that his sinister-sounding/dance-ready single “Midnight” is a song that I love.
“Midnight” will make you dance and want to fall in love with a vampire. The song features an instrumental that boasts a great tempo, a nice rhythm, and both action-packed and ghoulish vibes. Over the instrumental, Simon Ocean does a great job of blessing us with a mind-numbing vocal performance and intoxicating melodies. Simon Ocean’s chilling lyrics about embracing a love that is terrifyingly unique is the song’s icing on the cake.
