Starting today, a lot more white people will know who Brent Faiyaz is!
I am so high on Brent Faiyaz, I have withdrawals when I’m not listening to his music. Not only do I think that he is a fantastic singer, but I also feel like he makes very unique music. While Brent may not be the biggest household name at this very moment, I can see him becoming one after the release of “Wasting Time” with Drake.

I don’t love “Wasting Time.” If you ask me, the song sounds like a generic Pharrell track. With that being said, I do think that Brent Faiyaz puts up a great vocal performance and slick lyrics that will remind ordinary dudes like myself that we have no shot against singers when it comes to booking the best chicks on the globe. As for Drake, I love the fact that he raps on this song (We don’t need another Drake duet).
