Smiley & Drake Reunite For “Over The Top”

OVER THE TOP

Smiley & Drake

RGM RATING (????????)

I’m sure that Smiley’s Instagram followers count has risen by 100% today.

A Drake feature might be the best thing that you can get if you are an up-and-coming rapper. In the last couple of years, the 6GOD has elevated the status of so many different rappers — from Migos to Yung Bleu to ILOVEMAKONNEN (Well, maybe not ILOVEMAKONNEN). Today, Drake looks to give one of his fellow Canadians, Smiley, some leftover clout that he has laying around in his house.

Smiley definitely shines in “Over The Top.” Over this menacing Tay Keith beat, he hits us with steady flows and lyrics that promote his hood-certified/rich/carefree ways. At the end of the day, you’ll love Drake’s part the most, and that is mainly because he sounds unbothered, like a f**king boss, and like the version of himself that is competitive as hell (Competitive Drake cannot be stopped).
