RGM RATING (????????)

I’m sure dudes simply dropped their verses and went directly home.

At this very moment, my favorite rapper in the game is Benny The Butcher. As for G-Herbo, he’s risen up my rap power rankings these last couple of months. In “Alone,” the two rappers join forces (Along with Rick Hyde), creating a soulful rap track that features nothing but truthtelling.

“Alone” is powered by a very dramatic instrumental. Over it, Benny The Butcher, Rick Hyde, and G-Herbo relentlessly rap about their hustler ways, their terrifying hood encounters, their lessons learned throughout the years, their willingness to entertain beef, and their lost friends. While Benny hits us with his signature witty rhymes, Rick comes across as very personal and Herbo comes across as war-ready.
