RGM RATING (????????)

Jadakiss used this freestyle as a nuclear weapon during The Lox and The Diplomats’s VERZUZ battle.

I am one of the many people that can honestly say that I’ve been listening to Jadakiss for over twenty years now. Back when I was a kid, my sister and I were obsessed with Bad Boy so much, we even copped The Lox’s very first album, Money, Power, and Respect. Well, it’s 2021, and I feel like the trio is finally getting their respect. Even if y’all weren’t ready to give them their respect, songs like Jadakiss’s “Who Shot Ya (Freestyle)” proves that they are ready to take that s**t.

Jadakiss’s swag is on 100, his flows are impregnable, his lyrics are refreshingly hostile, and his punchlines are top-notch in “Who Shot Ya (Freestyle).” The crazy thing is that it doesn’t even sound like the New York rapper is trying in the song (Imagine being that good at your craft).
