Ahmad McCown is a singer/songwriter that was born in Georgia and raised in Delaware. The first thing that stood out to me while reading his bio was his love for music. Since a young age, he has appreciated music in its pure form, drawing inspiration from R&B artists such as Tevin Campbell, Babyface, Boyz II Men, Musiq Soulchild, Donell Jones, and many others. Ahmad’s latest single is “My Destination,” a track that lets you know how motivated he is to be a success story.
“My Destination” is all about reaching your dreams through resiliency, courage, and grit. The song features an uptempo instrumental that has all kinds of dramatic vibes attached to it. Over it, Ahmad blesses us with vocals that are passionate and pure, in addition to melodies that would easily get stuck in your head.
