Sam Opoku is a Ghanaian-American singer/songwriter that clearly has the keys to all of our hearts. Why do I say that? Because his music usually features powerful vocals, memorable melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics. In 2021, Sam has been pretty active, releasing over seven singles. One of those singles is the flawless “Boomerang.”
In “Boomerang,” Sam talks about messing with someone that just can’t get past their ex. I know, you’ve heard that story before, but the way Sam tells his version of the story is special. Not only does he bless us with poetic words, but he also relies on intoxicating melodies to make his feelings really pierce through your heart. Matter of fact, I felt “Boomerang” so much, I sent my ex a scathing Instagram DM after listening to the song.
