Imitation is the best form of flattery. Making an amazing pop record that calls out an imitator is the best form of getting someone who imitates someone else back (I hope you are following). “The Imitation Game,” JXCKY’s latest single, is a gem that is quirky, entertaining, and refreshingly petty.
JXCKY is a great writer and has an amazing voice. In “The Imitation Game,” his skills are put on full display. In the song, JXCKY blesses us with high-pitched vocals, quirky melodies, and lyrics that are so entertainingly childish. All in all, “The Imitation Game” is a treat for anyone that enjoys hella eccentric but high-quality pop music.
