I can smell a deluxe album coming from a mile away.
A few years ago, I told people (With my chest out) that Khalid was my favorite artist. From 2017 to 2019, he was making hit after hit after hit. With that being said, his latest album release, Scenic Drive, didn’t move me at all. If I were to guess, Khalid is looking to revamp Scenic Drive with a few brand new tracks; one of those tracks will probably be “Last Call.”
In “Last Call,” Khalid craves someone that enjoys the fast life just as much as they enjoy long runs (The lyrics in this song are kind of confusing). Throughout the song, he blesses us with both hypnotizing and soothing vocals. If you are a fan of Khalid’s prior work, the song should resonate with you.
