I have a confession to make: I haven’t watched a single second of Euphoria. What I do is read people’s comments about the show on Twitter and make my assumptions from there. This past weekend, while reading people’s comments about the show, I noticed a lot of negative comments about “Elliot’s Song,” a ballad that was heard on the latest episode. After listening to the track, I am confident in saying that Twitter users are crazy.
“Elliot’s Song” is a very numb ballad. Over a stripped-down instrumental, Dominic Fike coldly sings about having a strong connection with someone that he may unintentionally end up letting go. While he is the main reason the song ticks, Zendaya does a great job of playing his background singer
This song hurts in today’s climate.
