Ari Lennox will drop her ‘album of the year’ nominee next week. It seems like the DMV native knows that music fans hate waiting for s**t because today, she decided to release a brand new five-track EP titled Away Message.

I really like the idea of releasing an EP a week before releasing a major project. In my opinion, it’s genius to give listeners a chance to think about you before the real deal comes out. With that being said, Away Message is a five-track project that features the kind of blissful, passionate, and honest music that you’re used to hearing from Ari. The EP also features a great duet with Summer Walker.
I love me some Ari.
