“Lately” will appear on NAV’s forthcoming project “NAV 2.”
Can you believe that it has been six years since NAV dropped his self-titled mixtape (It actually feels longer)? What’s funny is that the version of the Canadian rapper that we got on that project is completely different than the version we tend to hear now. Very soon, NAV will release NAV 2. The first single from the project, “Lately,” hit streaming services today.
In “Lately,” NAV tells his woman that he wants his freedom since he provides her with everything she wants and needs. If you are a NAV stan, what you will enjoy about the track is that it features passionate vocals and soothing vibes that allow him to sound as vulnerable as ever. The song also features lyrics that straddle the line between cocky and down-to-earth. Overall, if you are a fan of NAV’s moody music, you will enjoy “Lately.”
