Metro Boomin, NAV, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Swae Lee Connect For “Calling”

Calling

Metro Boomin (Ft. NAV, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Swae Lee)

This Spider-Man soundtrack is about to be epic.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Soundtracks these days are really f**king good. This trend started with the Black Panther soundtrack, which was produced by Kendrick Lamar. The forthcoming Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse soundtrack is produced by Metro Boomin, so you know that s**t is going to be really good. The first single from the project, “Calling” with NAV, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Swae Lee, hit YouTube today.

“Calling” is as gentle as it gets. In the song, you get this soft beat that encourages Swae Lee to hit us with an angelic hook, and NAV to hit us with a nurturing verse that has him sounding like an answering machine with a heart. I didn’t hear A Boogie at all, so I am assuming there’s a longer version of the song that will come out later. Whatever the case may be, I am a fan of this joint.

Weirdly, I feel like Wale belongs on this song…
