Soul-stirring and emotional pop? Yes, please.

Nashville, TN-based musical creative, Callen, is a singer, songwriter, and producer. The artist’s unique style comes through in each of his songs. What style, you ask? Well, pop with a twist. Some of his previous releases include “That’s Just Life,” “What Could I Do,” “Grew Up In My Head,” and Bloodhound.” These songs, and more, are available on Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, and Callen’s own website. According to an interview with the singer, his new song, “Worried,” was inspired by “A very nice person whose name rhymes with henna and is in med school currently.”

“Worried” will probably end up being the most romantic song you hear this year. Lyrics like “I’m sorry I laughed when you said I wasn’t crazy, You’re just out of my league, and I didn’t expect even a maybe” and “I’m worried you’ll realize, I’m just a hopeless romantic with the potential for damage” vulnerably reflect on the artist’s insecurities about his current relationship. At the same time, it explores the relatable fears and joys that come with finding love. So, press play and let Callen’s words in “Worried” tug at your heartstrings.
