“Resentment” falls directly in line with the sappy, velvety R&B music PARTYNEXTDOOR has been making for years. The song boasts atmospheric production, vocals that are powered more by emotions than skills, and confrontational lyrics that would upset any chick that ducks drama. On some real s**t, this is the kind of PND I prefer. I just love what the smooth vibes can do for my summer.
Can PARTYNEXTDOOR reclaim his title as king of R&B? B*tch, I think so.
