I like it when Nicki Minaj shows us her singing bag.

In my opinion, Nicki Minaj is the greatest female rapper of all time, and it’s not even a close competition. Her animated style, competitive spirit, and remarkable lyrical skills, which she has showcased for over a decade, have consistently resonated with me. However, it’s worth noting that Nicki has always displayed a keen interest in incorporating singing into her music. Today, she released a new single titled “Last Time I Saw You,” which leans more towards her singing abilities.

Do you know what I love about Nicki Minaj’s singing songs? She never does too much in them. In “Last Time I Saw You,” set against a laid-back bubblegum pop beat, she treats us to a captivating vocal performance that showcases her deep affection for someone she holds dear. And for devoted Nicki fans, rest assured, she also delivers a hard-hitting rap verse that’s signature Nicki.

The anticipation for Nicki Minaj’s upcoming Pink Friday 2 album is steadily building. Will she continue to explore a variety of genres as she has done in the past? Or will she return with the hard-hitting bars that marked her previous project? Find out next time on RGM!
