Trippie Redd Hops On Kanii’s “sins (let me in)”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Trippie Redd fits this track like a glove.

It’s hard to deny that Trippie Redd is one of the most versatile artists in today’s hip-hop scene. When raps seriously, he excels, but it’s widely recognized that his true superpower lies in crafting passionate and exceptionally distinctive melodies. Considering these qualities, it’s no surprise that he’s a prime candidate for remixes. In the remix to Kanii’s “sins (let me in),” he nearly steals the spotlight.

We definitely gotta give Kanii some love here. The original version of “sins (let me in)” is excellent. First and foremost, you have to appreciate Kanii’s unique, high-pitched vocals. That s**t actually sounds metaphysical. You must also appreciate the hypnotic, almost 80s-like beat that powers everything. What Trippie adds to this remix is sturdy vocals and vulnerable lyrics that fall directly in line with everything Kanii was saying. All in all, I am a big fan of this release.

Give “sins (let me in)” by Kanii and Trippie Redd .
