Tems Says She’s “Not An Angel”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Real ones don’t want to date angels anyway.

Tems is an extraordinary artist with a captivating voice, skillfully bridging the realms of Afropop and R&B. Apart from her musical prowess, she’s also sexy as hell, but that’s a tale for another occasion. While we await a full-fledged project from the Nigerian singer, she consistently treats us to some stellar singles. Her latest offering, dropped on Friday, is titled “Not An Angel.”

In “Not An Angel,” Tems candidly acknowledges her imperfections, suggesting they may contribute to a rift in her relationship. Ironically, she delivers an angelic vocal performance on the track. Set against a soothing yet impactful beat, Tems infuses the song with intense passion, providing undeniable melodies. Anyone claiming they don’t desire this non-angel probably doesn’t appreciate the essence of a woman.

If you’re at a bar, why not give this pickup line a shot: “I’m not an angel.” See how it plays out!
