The ART MuZeum Paints A Clear Picture In “OTL”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I admire The ART MuZeum’s moniker for its association with timeless collections, drawing parallels to the rich offerings found in art museums. Likewise, the hip-hop artist from Hartford is crafting his own impressive collection. Most notably, TAM recently released an album titled Slice Of Life, with standout tracks like “OTL.”

In “OTL,” The ART MuZeum delves into his encounters with a married woman who attracts attention like Dejounte Murray attracts suitors. Through his verses, he portrays her as sly, easily swayed, and physically alluring. While some may criticize TAM for glorifying the excitement of infidelity, it seems he may be using the song as a cautionary tale, warning both men and women that their partners may not always be where they claim to be.

“OTL” features an uptempo, hard-hitting beat accentuated by a drowned-out sample, amplifying its edgy vibe. The ART MuZeum contributes steady flows, witty lines, and an upbeat delivery to the track, capturing the exhilaration of engaging in forbidden desires.

I’m rooting for DaBaby. I hope he wins Comeback Player of the Year.
