$TYLJA Drops Smooth Bars In “Hang onto Your Love”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

$TYLJA proves Houston talent runs deep with “Hang onto Your Love.”

$TYLJA is an exceptionally talented artist from Houston, Texas, and we’ve covered his work extensively here. And when I say talented, I mean it—wholeheartedly. He doesn’t just rap on his projects and singles; he also handles production, mixing, mastering, and more. Very few artists today possess such a complete command of music creation.

Recently, $TYLJA made a triumphant return with two new albums: Shaka Zulu – Disc 1 and Shaka Zulu – Disc 2. One standout track from Disc 1 is “Hang onto Your Love,” a perfect showcase of his skill and unique style.

I’m not going to lie—I love it when hip-hop collides with vintage R&B vibes. That mix always hits just right. On “Hang onto Your Love,” we get exactly that. The track kicks off with an old-school beat that makes you snap your fingers, yet it carries enough punch to rattle your speakers. $TYLJA approaches the song like a seasoned pro, delivering verses with a sly, unbothered flow that matches the lyrics perfectly. He raps about putting scandalous women in their place, flexing his dominance, and highlighting his money-making mentality. What really elevates the track, though, are the ad-libs he sprinkles throughout, giving the song extra personality. Altogether, “Hang onto Your Love” is a satisfying listen from start to finish.

On top of that, $TYLJA has dropped two new projects packed with dynamic production, authentic rap flows, and hard-hitting lyrics. Both are currently available exclusively from the website www.myblockrecordz.com in the “out the trunk” section.
