Central Cee would be a superstar if he came out in the ’90s. He has this raw style that I think a bunch of hip-hop fans from that decade would love. Like, think about it: Wouldn’t it be tight to see him do an interview on Rap City? Something I love that Cench does is these unfiltered freestyles. His latest, “CC FREESTYLE,” hit YouTube earlier today.
Central Cee is living the UK dream. In “CC FREESTYLE,” he shares his come-up story, how he went from rags to riches, the streets to an 18,000 euros a month house, and from broke to a millionaire. He also says he’s the second-most famous writer in the UK after JK Rowling.
As expected, “CC FREESTYLE” features excellent punchlines coupled with a flow that cannot be destroyed by Thor’s hammer and production that is both smooth and hard-hitting. The audio quality that we get in the song is pretty bad, but I think that actually adds to its legend.
