Central Cee & Lil Baby Go Back & Forth In “BAND4BAND”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Oh s**t, Central Cee brought Lil Baby across the pond.

Lil Baby and Central Cee might seem worlds apart, but they share some surprising similarities. Both hailed as golden children in their own neighborhoods and, more importantly, struggle to say the letter “t.” So, it’s no shocker that they’ve joined forces for a new collab single titled “BAND4BAND.”

I promised to keep it real today, so here’s my take: This track didn’t blow me away. The dark and intense UK drill beat caught my attention, and Central Cee’s aggressive flow and lyrics stood out, showcasing his confidence and versatility. The moment Central passes the mic to Baby, s**t starts to go downhill. Simply, I wasn’t impressed with Baby’s mumbled delivery and cliché lyrics over the beat. I hate to sound harsh, but I think I would like this song even more if Baby wasn’t on it.

Anytime Central Cee says something related to Muslims, you know he’s cooking.
