Action Bronson Plays With A Wild Instrumental In “Sega”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Nah, Action Bronson took it too far with this instrumental.

With all due respect, Action Bronson holds a special place among my favorite rappers, unlike Ghostface Killah, despite their strikingly similar voices. This preference stems from two key factors: Firstly, I find AB’s humor incredibly entertaining, and secondly, I’m consistently drawn to the unique production styles that he often explores.

Action Bronson’s experimentation with instrumentals went a bit too far on his latest single, “Sega.”

“Sega” features an unconventional, Celtic-like instrumental that I have no clue how to dance to (shoutout to the Celtics, though). While Action Bronson may not perfectly synchronize with it, he deserves credit for his attempt (this is what effort looks like, Luka). Lyrically, Bronson delivers his signature craziness, discussing swinging big lumber, unsettling encounters with taxi drivers, and experiences in cranberry clubs.

Action Bronson’s writing exercises must be legendary.
