Tee Grizzley is one of the top rappers in the game for three reasons: He effortlessly drops strong rap bars, usually raps over excellent beats, and is great at storytelling.
When it comes to Tee Grizzley’s storytelling side, it showed its face today as he released a new single called “Robbery 7.”
Tee Grizzley starts off “Robbery 7” sounding like someone who is a few minutes away from meeting his maker. He mentions all the bad s**t he regretted doing and not being worthy of making it to heaven. Once he realizes that he is going to make it, he spends his following days in the hospital f**king with his nurse and plotting on revenge.
Though the first portion of “Robbery 7” is tranquil, the second phase is explosive, featuring a menacing beat and Tee Grizzley’s signature ferocious rap style.
