Jeremih, Bryson Tiller & Chris Brown Join Forces For “Wait On It”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The big 3 in R&B?

There are R&B stars who resonate with your grandparents’ generation, and then there are those who appeal to the cool kids of today. Jeremih, Bryson Tiller, and Chris Brown definitely fall into the latter category. Not only do they all have strong connections to hip-hop culture, but one is affiliated with a gang, and another has made waves with an anthem where he portrays himself as a modern-day Rambo.

Appropiately, Jeremih, Bryson Tiller, and Chris Brown recently united for a new collaboration single called “Wait On It.”

“Wait On It” embodies modern R&B at its finest. For starters, the track boasts a pleasing beat with enough punch to let R&B stars explore their edgier sides, and that’s exactly what happens. Jeremih, Bryson Tiller, and Chris Brown each portray borderline eager individuals willing to wait their turn for a chance to make their partners’ nights unforgettable. Each artist shines brightly in their distinct manner, which I appreciate. Their passion, especially evident towards the track’s repetitive yet captivating end, adds to its allure—I’m a fan of a repetitive R&B music.
