Are y’all going to miss NBA YoungBoy?

A few months ago, NBA YoungBoy’s house was raided, and federal agents took him into custody. It was later revealed that he is facing a whopping 63 charges for various illegal activities he engaged in while living in Utah. Given all the strikes he has incurred throughout the years, my guess is that YoungBoy may be put away for a while.

Last night, NBA YoungBoy‘s team dropped a track he made before getting taken away. It’s called “tears of war.”

NBA YoungBoy in “tears of war”

NBA YoungBoy holds nothing back in “tears of war.” In the track, which is more than five minutes long, he talks about all the bodies he has (Yikes), not wanting other dudes’ chicks, sliding on folks, and keeping his feelings disguised. He also shouts out those who love him, like Quando Rondo, while practically dismissing those he feels don’t love him, like Birdman.

NBA YoungBoy knows music. “tears of war” flips Rick Ross’s “Tears of Joy” beat from Teflon Don. While I’m not a huge fan of the rap style NBA YoungBoy uses in his verses, I absolutely love the passionate hook he lays down. I would replay this track just to listen to the hook.

I really wish NBA YoungBoy well.
