Ciara & Busta Rhymes Unite For “Wassup”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Ciara is still cool, right?

Don’t count Ciara out just yet. While she isn’t hitting the same heights as her early days with hits like “Goodies” and “1, 2 Step,” she’s still delivering solid singles. Last month, Ciara showed she’s still got it by teaming up with Bossman Dlow for “Run It Up.” This past Friday, she dropped another banger, “Wassup,” featuring none other than Busta Rhymes.

In “Wassup,” Ciara and Busta Rhymes confidently talk about their drip, party-starting energy, money-making prowess, and godlike presence. The track exudes serious club vibes, driven by a slick, dance-inducing beat. Ciara delivers a catchy hook and whispery, infectious rap lines, while Busta Rhymes showcases his signature fast-paced, complex flows. Though undeniably energetic and fun, the track does feel slightly outdated.

Ciara and Busta lowkey killed this s**t.
